Benoît Claveranne is Group Chief Transformation Officer and a member of the AXA Management Committee. He notably oversees technology, data, distribution, operations and efficiency. He joined AXA in 2009 where he grew the business and built franchises in France, in Europe and in Asia. Before joining AXA, Benoît Claveranne sat on the boards of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank during the Global Financial crisis, after having held several positions in the French Treasury.
He is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Paris) and the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Economics) and holds a Master in Economics from the University of Paris.
